The story of who what and where.

It all started about 1993 I guess.  I was in highschool working at the school's radio station making a name for myself.  there came a time where the school was having trouble finding good dj's to do the school dances.  This got me thinking and I also shaved the idea with Bryan Fulkersin, my freind and colleague at WCHW FM.  Kicking the idea around for a few months we actually started putting it together.  Honing our skills with home stereo equipment, borrowed music, and a working traffic light, we were well in business.

Then we graduated and I moved on to college.  I started doing parties around the campus, not too many, just enough to keep some beer money in my pocket.  Finally in 1999, I had a business meeting with John, my best friend, and we hatched an idea that is now as we know it today, Shockwave DJ Services.  Me doing most of the work, and John being the silent partner, helping with moving and setup of equipment, and helping me make business decisions, we hit the dj'ing trail.  Taking any job, be it small or big, we tried and conquered the challenges(Grant ST. Luau).

Now with equipment that can pull the performance, and with help from my friends and colleagues, and a few DJ's that I know, I am now ready to be put to the challenge to whatever my customers have to offer me.  I stand behind 2
garauntees.  The first one is that you, the customers, are #1, without you there would be no business.  Second, I don't have an end time!  Your party stops when you say it does.  You don't plan your party around me, I plan my dj'ing around you!

At this time I would like to thank a few people that have helped me do numerous things to make this happen.  John Darbee for being a relentlous roady,  my DJ prodigy, for financial support, and most of all best friend, Jessica Vastag  for basically helping me out with everything and being there for the hellish beginnings, Stephanie Striker, Christopher Fullerton, Jason Thomas, Carolyn Keiser, Dan Heading, and last but not least, the crazy guy that was there since the begining, Bryan Fulkersin, without him I wouldn't have gotten as far as I did(well maybe, but we'll never know!).  To all these people, sitting at parties late nights, moving equipment in at 4am in the bitter cold, being able to setup the ENTIRE lighting and PA system in 20 minutes(John and Carolyn), and letting me test the shocks out on their cars by filling it up with equipment, that's what these people have done to make this dream I have come true.  You can find pictures of most of these people on the staff page.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. I, and the rest of the staff here at Shockwave DJ Services are up to the challenge for whatever event.  Click here to go to the  Contact page .And we'll see you at the next show!
